Synopsist

Text messages from Synopsist

How consent is given, what we send, and how to stop it · Last updated September 22, 2026

Synopsist, a product of Mestor Technologies, sends text messages to its own account holders and to nobody else. This page describes exactly what those messages are, where consent is given, and how to end it. It exists so that anyone — a customer, a carrier or a reviewer — can see the whole arrangement without needing an account.

The documents that govern this

Messaging programme terms: synopsist.ai/terms (section 7, Text Messages).

Privacy policy, including how mobile information is handled: synopsist.ai/privacy (section 7, Text Messages and Mobile Information).

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and no mobile information is sold.

Who receives messages

Only the account holder, at a mobile number they type in themselves, on their own account, while signed in. Nobody can add somebody else's number. We do not buy, rent, share or import phone numbers from any list, and we never message a customer's own clients.

What we send

Two things, both of them a direct response to something the account holder set up:

  • A reply when you ask Synopsist to place a call. You text your own Synopsist number something like call Bob Zorton, and it replies to confirm it is ringing you.

Example: “Calling Bob Zorton now — your phone will ring in a moment.”

  • Lead alerts your own CRM sends you. If you connect a CRM that forwards new-lead notifications to your Synopsist number, we pass them on to your phone.

Example: “New lead: Dana Whitfield, (803) 555-0142 — 2134 Lake Ave inquiry.”

We send no marketing texts, no promotions and no campaigns of any kind.

Where consent is given

Inside the product, on the Callingpage, after signing in. The account holder enters their own mobile number under “Ring me on”, then ticks “Call by text”. The box is off until they tick it.

Reproduced below exactly as it appears. This is a copy shown for reference — ticking nothing here, and it subscribes no one.

As it appears in the app — example only

Call by text

Leaving this on means Synopsist may text the number above: replies when you ask it to place a call, and any lead alerts your CRM sends to your Synopsist number. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Untick the box to turn them off.

Stopping messages

Reply STOP to any message and they end immediately. Reply HELPfor help. Unticking “Call by text” on the Calling page does the same thing, and takes effect at once.

Message frequency varies — it depends entirely on how often you ask for a call and how many leads your CRM forwards. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number and your data

Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is sold. Numbers are used only to deliver the messages described above, through our messaging provider, and are held under our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
